A friend of Jackson's since their teenage years in Los Angeles, Reuben Kadish was instrumental in bringing Pollock and Krasner to Springs in 1945. Judd explores Kadish's transition from painting to sculpture in the 1950s. Judd Tully is Chairman of the Reuben Kadish Art Foundation. The Art of Relationships lecture series is sponsored jointly by the Stony Brook University Libraries and Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center. The series, which complements the Pollock-Krasner House's exhibition, "Creative Exchanges: Artists in Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner's Address Book," is made possible by a generous gift from Dorothy Lichtenstein and Stony Brook’s John H. Marburger, the Third Memorial Fund.
